Living in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, I was fortunate to have access to two of the nation’s top-ranked hospitals, as well as numerous community hospitals in the Raleigh-Durham area. Over my 40+ years in bedside nursing, including 30 years split between Duke University Hospital and UNC Hospital, I cultivated a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to patient care. Now, I’ve embraced my true passion—nursing education—where I can inspire and shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.
